Oh No! A Total Waste of Eyeshadow!

I finally splurged and bought Sugarpill’s Velocity pressed eyeshadow. It’s a vivid electric blue. One day as I was planning out my makeup look and I decided I wanted use a vivid blue eyeshadow. Somehow as I was trying to open the shadow to apply it I dropped it on the floor.
Oh, the horror! I saw the little compact bounce on the hard cement tiles in my apartment, pop open and the entire blue pressed powder shadow exploded out and hit the ground. I was so sad I wanted to cry. If it’s ever happened to you no doubt you’ve felt the same way. The shadow had only been used maybe twice before and now it was on the cold tile absorbing germs and dirt. WAAAA!
The shadow went into the trash after I sadly scooped it off the floor. After landing in near seemingly solid form the second I try to clean it up the shadow disintegrates all over my floor. I had to mop the floor because the blue shadow smeared all over as I tried to carefully clean it up.
Later I found out I could’ve sprayed the shadow with 99% alcohol and pressed it back into the compact but personally I would’ve never felt it was clean enough to use on my eyes. Now I try to be very careful when handling my eyeshadow and do it over a counter so the horrible tragedy never happens again.
