Elizabeth Arden Velva Moisture Film

I found this at Marshalls. I wanted a moisturizer I could wear at home after I wash my face and just want to relax around the house. When I saw Elizabeth Arden’s Velva Moisture Film it seemed like it would fit my needs. I’ve been using it for a couple months now and I like the way it makes my skin feel.
After applying it my skin feels baby soft and silky for hours. No tight skin feeling and no tingling when I smooth on the Velva Film. Film is a good description. It leaves an thin film on my face that is quickly absorbed. No gooey or heavy or slimy feelings when I apply it to my face.
The only bad thing is the fragrance. I hate it. Its very strong and it reminds me of something my 80 year old Grandma would wear. The packaging didn’t say it was for aging skin so I’m not sure why it has the horrid old lady fragrance.
I’m starting to get used to it but even after all these months I still hate the smell. For the first 2 minutes after I apply Velva Film I can smell it. That’s better than when I first bought it. The scent would bug me for hours. But it makes my skin so soft I’m willing to tolerate the unpleasant fragrance.
