Are You Looking for Intense Eye Shadow Colors?

If you want bright eyeshadow you need to check out Mehron’s Intense color line. The Mehron Intense pressed powder pigments live up to their name. I purchased the Fire palette and the colors glow! They are vivid colors that go on smoothly and easily as a cream shadow but they are definitely powder. Touch the palette gently with your brush because you will lift up too much color and waste product.
Pure Lightening, the white pigment is too opaquely white for my skin tone. I can only use tiny amounts of the color on my eye lids. Hot Pink and Fire Island are my favorite and most frequently used colors in this palette. I was surprised Hot Pink looks more salmon pink in the palette but when applied it seems like an almost neon salmon. I was afraid it would be too soft a color but it stands out brightly on the eyelid. I love it. Fire Island is a softer green but offers full coverage and goes will with the Hot Pink Shadow.
The other colors in the palette also offer full coverage during application but don’t seem to go well with my skin tone. I have to be very careful with purple eyeshadow or I look like I have a black eye from being punched in the face so I don’t use the Intense Purple. The Electric Yellow is slightly chalky in application so it is not my favorite yellow eyeshadow to use.
I would recommend this palette to anyone who appreciates bright, vibrant eye colors and is willing to experiment with the Mehron Intense Fire colors. Mehron also creates other colors like browns and warmer shades but I like bold and bright shadow so the Fire palette is my color palette of choice. The shadows are also sold individually but I bought this palette at IMATS LA and got them as a set.
