Supplies for Making My Own Lippies!

I like making over my lipsticks and blogged about how to create your own mixitini lippies. I’m finally posting photos of an order I got from TKB Trading. I bought lipstick base and some pigments.
I got two red liquid pigments. I like #27 better. Its a bright pinkish red.
I found out after I received my order that I already had this color. I was bummed out but it turns out I was really low on the Pluot pigment so it came in handy.
This color really caught my eye. I’ve had some mixed results using it in my lippies. One that I made is bright but too dark for my skin tone. I need to keep experimenting.
Both came out too pale for my taste. The Pink Red Blue is a shimmery color that makes lippies too pale. The Muraski Violet looks like a faded version of Pluot Purple. I don’t really like either pigment.
A hint of blue suspended in oil. I found it very disappointing.
This was a free gift with the purchase of some fragrance oils. It really makes lippies taste sweet. I love it especially when trying to hide a perfume flavor that some of the lipsticks have that I’m melting down.
I also ordered some lipstick base but I find it too greasy. I’ll use it if I need to make matte lipsticks less hard.
